Olympic Weightlifting classes at CrossFit Risio are made for those who love to work on technique and build specific strength for Snatches and Clean & Jerks.

All levels of experience are welcome! If you are a beginner and want to get started, schedule a No-Sweat Intro with us first to learn more about our Olympic Weightlifting Fundamental program!

Meet your Coach.

Nathan Rhoades; CF-L1, USAW-L1

Nate, who has 5+ years of coaching experience with Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit, specializes in all things barbell. He believes in the power of the basics, building awareness and understanding of body mechanics, and moving with intention before moving with intensity.

The Fundamentals

If you are brand new to Olympic Weightlifting, we offer a comprehensive 4 week fundamentals program that consists of 12 small group training sessions designed to teach and progress you through everything you need to know about Olympic Weightlifting.

This must be completed before you can begin your monthly membership if you are new to Olympic Weightlifting!
